Share Videos from Social Media in Your Timeline
Saving and sharing your memories just got even easier! You can now link video clips from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook directly to your timeline – all in one place.
How it works
Open the timeline and click the round button on the right side to create a new post.
Fill in the title, date and an optional description.
Paste the link to the clip you want to add – from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook.
Click Add media.
You can add up to five clips in the same post.
Save the post when you're done – the clips will now appear directly in the timeline.
What you can do in the post
View all your added clips gathered in a single post.
Open the player and browse between clips using the arrows.
Remove a clip before saving if you change your mind.
Important to keep in mind
For a clip to be visible to visitors, your account and the video must be set to public on the respective platform. If the account or clip is private or restricted, it cannot be played in the timeline – visitors may then need to open it directly on the platform instead.
Currently, thumbnail previews are only available for YouTube. Preview images for TikTok, Instagram and Facebook are not yet supported, but we're working on it!
