New Feature: Groups
We're excited to introduce our latest feature - Groups! Now you can create and join communities where you can share experiences, advice, and support with other parents.
What are Groups?
Groups are communities where members can discuss everything from sleep routines to the first day of school, share activity tips, or simply support each other in the parenting journey. Whether you want to talk about newborns, toddlers, or teenagers, there's now a place for you on Babiry.
Create Your Own Group
Have a specific interest or theme you want to discuss? Create your own group and invite others! You can choose from different privacy settings:
- Public - Anyone can find and read the group
- Private - Visible in search, but requires membership to read content
- Secret - Only accessible via invitation
- Members Only - Visible to everyone with an account
Organize Discussions with Categories
As a group administrator, you can create categories to keep discussions organized. Divide topics into sections like "Questions and Answers", "Tips and Advice", "Recipes", or whatever fits your group best.
Flexible Posting Options
Depending on the group's settings, you can choose to post with your name, anonymously, or with a custom display name. Perfect for those times when you want to share something without revealing your identity.
Invite Friends
Have friends who would be perfect for your group? Send an invitation directly via username. Invited members are automatically approved when they apply for membership.
Moderation and Control
As an administrator, you have full control over your group. You can:
- Approve or deny membership requests
- Pin important posts to the top
- Move posts between categories
- Disable comments on specific posts
- Manage members and assign roles (Administrator, Moderator, Member)
Find Your Community Today
Use the search function to find groups that interest you, or create your own! Groups are available to all members on Babiry.
We look forward to seeing the amazing communities you'll create together. Good luck!
